The Cat, The Patsy and the TV

I am watching a movie the other night,(a classic Marion Davies comedy called "The Patsy") and what happens?

The cat decides to get a better view of the action. About 3 inches away from the screen!

Does this mean:

a) The cat needs glasses, most likely trifocals

b) The cat was really digging this Marion Davies chick

or

c) The cat was about to be sucked into the screen a la "Poltergeist"?

The answer is none of the above:

I assume the warmth of the screen was the biggest attraction of all.
